AI Heroes is the annual AI conference hosted in Turin, Italy, and broadcast live around the world. The event features international speakers and sponsors, and welcomes participants from all over Europe, and connected online from all over the globe. The event will feature talks from Developers, Engineers, Data Scientists & Product Managers on academic learnings, commercial expectations and current case studies on how to work with AI.

The speakers at AI Heroes are a critical part in building a high energy event and encouraging discussions in the most important and interesting areas of AI. Please submit a paper if you have a new, exciting point of view or experience to share, if you want to actively collaborate on best practices, and if you're a fun personality that should be in front of the awesome AI Heroes audience.

We are looking forward to talks on (but not limited to) these topics (main track):

  • Generative AI, LLMs, Bots & Language Processing
  • AI for Software Development, Testing, Team Productivity, Software Security, Release and deployment, DevOPS
  • Tools, libraries, frameworks, and systems for AI integration like Tensorflow, PyTorch, LangChain, Hugging Face & Open Source Frameworks

The Academic track

This track centers on the foundational technology, including the code, mathematics, and core principles driving contemporary AI research and development. Researchers and engineers will present on topics such as model development, algorithms, optimization techniques, and the essential technical foundations of core AI development.

Your abstract

  • Make sure it clearly and concisely communicates your idea (~1000 characters if possible).
  • Make sure your abstract makes the value of your talk obvious for the audience; be relevant to the audience of AI developers.
  • Describe who specifically your talk is addressing.
  • Define an approx. length of your presentation
  • Tell us how innovative your topic is — what is new and exciting!
  • Outline what the audience will learn and takeaway from your presentation.
  • Original talks (not previously presented at any other conferences) will be given priority, please let us know if this is a new talk.

We are looking for:

  • Developers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers
  • Companies developing software
  • Research institutions with AI relevant activities
  • Network operators and service providers
  • Hardware manufacturers
  • Companies, organisations and individuals utilising AI in new areas
  • Companies utilising AI in the services and products they sell

Selection process

  • Proposals will be filtered and shortlisted by the AI Heroes selection team. Help them!

  • Provide links to videos and slides of your past talks so that they can take your experience into account.

  • Provide them with blog posts or papers on the importance of your topic, how it's being tackled, what the opportunities are and more, so that they can thoroughly assess your application.

Call for Papers deadline: 18 October 2024


Selected speakers will receive:

  • One (1) ticket to take part in the conference, 11 December 2024 and one (1) additional free ticket to share with a person of your choice.
  • All speaker tickets include: catering, water bottle, official event t shirt, aperitivo.
  • Invitation to the Speakers Dinner (10 December 2024).
  • One night's accommodation in a hotel (well connected for both the speakers dinner and the conference).
  • Travel expenses will be covered if requested: up to €200 reimbursement for speakers travelling from within the EU, up to €400 reimbursement for speakers travelling from outside of the EU. (Invoice or ticket receipt will be required.)
  • Alternatively, companies or organisations that cover the entire cost of their speakers' participation (travel and accommodation) will receive Supporting Partnership status at AI Heroes 2024. See details below.

  • Please note, all presentations are live, in person, in Turin Italy. No remote speeches are allowed. (Funding is available to assist with travel.)

  • Original talks (not previously presented at other conferences) will be given priority.
